Antique vase, 26.5cm, hand-enamelled faience. Neo-Rococo style decoration, floral motifs, scroll handles, rim with crown projections, gilded highlights. Black printed mark on base (Ignac Fischer factory, late period) with lion’s head above a shield with a fish. Word ‘HUNGARY’ above the design.
NB: Some damage and repairs:
Rim: Part of rim broken off, piece of rim found inside the vase and available to reattach. Glue repair to one of the crown projections. Gilding wear around inner rim.
Handles: One handle reattached with glue, missing scroll flourish on the other.
Base: Minor rim chipping, old adhesive residue on underside.
