While there are plain front examples out there - I was unable to find another Corbin Cabinet lock Co mail box with the federal home architectural motif front so it may be quite rare. Primarily brass construction. A steel retainer secures the small glass window and has left some rust staining on it. Additionally - the steel lock has corroded and may or may not be restorable. As is - the door does not shut completely or latch in its present condition. Otherwise - a wonderfully detailed brass wall mailbox in time worn patina. A possibly quite rare formal federal house design.
