Tour touching-down in the Mid-Atlantic ! June 23rd, 1984 ( 6/23/1984 ) at
City Island on '84 Summer Tour !! The same-day as Robert Hunter's 43rd
Birthday !! The fortunate thing is that the Grateful Dead chose to start
this fantastic ' Harrisburg ' tradition one year prior - with a 1-night
stand on the '83 Summer Tour on June 22nd, 1983 ( 6/22/1983 ) ! But, the
unfortunate thing is that this new ' tradition ' only had a life span of
1-Year & 1-Day ! - with this '84 Summer Tour stop in Harrisburg being
the Very-Last & Final ! Dead Show in Harrisburg, PA for the Good Ol' Grateful Dead !! So ... Harrisburg was definitely lucky to host the Grateful Dead - but, it only happened twice-ever ... and right-in this small Early/Mid-'80's Era - on
6/22/1983 ! & 6/23/1984 !! And, as far as the Magnificent ! design itself on this Pass ... it is indeed one of the Vintage-Classic Automobile G.D. Passes designed & used by Grateful Dead Productions only in 1984 & 1985 ! And, maybe even more appropriately said ... 2-Years where The Boys brought The Heat !!! Some of this here Fan's favorite G.D. time, place ... & Space ! for certain. As I cannot Ever ! get enough of some of those Tones !! Garcia & the Boss HM-2 !!! The unmatched Japanese manufactured version too even - but yeah, naturally ... Ha !! As after all - this is the ' Real ' King ! of Rock & Roll that we are talkin' about here ... Jerry G. !!! Just a little inside joke - for all ye' fellow Guitar Players ! Classic ... And Classic like this Hot-Rod " Steal Your Face ! " Car ! - as this Beauty ! even has a ' Steal Your Face ! ' painted right where it should be ... smack ' Dead ' on the side !! And ... I mean come on - to think that the Grateful Dead even ever played Harrisburg ! ... that is just so Incredibly-Hot !!! For a certain-kind of Dead Fan from - most-likely the ' Grate ! ' Mid-Atlantic !! ... as this one is a " Complete " G.D. Treasure !!! The Grateful Dead in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania !!!
