Description

For your consideration is a pair of Western Electric 269A "Tennis Ball" vacuum tubes. These are iconic pieces of early audio and industrial history, featuring the distinctive spherical glass envelope characteristic of Western Electric's early "tennis ball" designs.

A Note on Provenance:
I originally started listing these items last year, but due to a family dispute, I did not have everything in my physical possession at that time. That situation has now been fully resolved, and I have all of these items in hand before listing them on eBay. I can now confidently provide accurate photos and descriptions of the exact items you will receive.

Condition:
The tubes are in good cosmetic condition for their age. The glass envelopes appear to be intact with no visible cracks or chips. The black bases are present, and the internal silver getter flashing is clearly visible. The pins on the base appear straight. The bayonet pin is offset at 45 degrees as is standard for this type.

Operational Status:
These tubes are untested and are being sold "As-Is". They were acquired as part of an estate collection, and I do not have the proper equipment to test them. While they appear to be in good physical condition, they may require servicing or testing before use. Please refer to the photos for a detailed look at their condition.
