'buck a disc' listing. up for auction today is a 2004 issued CD of the 1981 album by one of the legends of Classic

Rock The Rolling Stones (AKA The Rockin' Wrinkles) titled 'Tattoo You'. led by the songwriting of Keith Richards & Mick Jagger, and the riff-heavy arrangements of Keef, the RS are the longest lasting Rock group ever, still touring

thru 2025 (to promote their album 'Hackney Diamonds'). this was the second post-Some Girls album in a row

to polish off leftovers from the 1970s, and maybe add a couple of new songs. split into a rocker side and a ballads

side, the rockers side wins out with a set of six winners, the B-side is good, but not great, as 'no use in crying'

is forgettable & 'Heaven' has Micks falsetto. still, it was their most popular album of the 1980s, and is something

I still return to every once in a while. a 'must have' for Stones fans & collector, and a great buy for classic rock fans. Rolling Stones/Virgin 7243-8-39521-2 5 w/4pp booklet. allmusic.com rates this at 4.5 stars of 5.
