I have for sale one pair of new old stock brake lever hoods still in their original packet suitable for road racing bike brake levers, made by A'ME products in the USA.

There is no bar code on the packet so I am guessing they date from the 1980s, which is the period where this type of brake was in use. It is also the period when A'ME was a big name in BMX handlebar grips and other rubber parts.

These are for Aero style levers where the brake cable runs out of the lever and is hidden by the bar tape, as opposed to the levers which have the cable emerging from a hole in the top. From what I can find online, these are exceptionally rare survivors, because A'ME made mainly the non Aero type of hoods.

The shape of the hoods seems quite universal but obviously the fit will vary dependent upon your make and model of brake levers. The rubber has not deteriorated (see photos and video) they are still supple and springy. Please note that the bag has been pierced by a display hook so the hoods are slightly dirty in places but the colour looks as new, I can't see any yellowing so a quick wash in soapy water should have them looking their best.
