This is a marvellous Vintage Ideal Toy Corp Tammy Girl Doll, with Blonde Hair and is the first generation with the original straight legs, made in 1964. She is marked BS-12 to the back of her head and the top of her back as well as Made in Hong Kong. 

She is in good condition but does exhibit a little age-related wear with her right arm being a little loose.

Tammy was first produced in 1962, a year before Sindy appeared and ceased production in 1966.
