Vintage scenic postcard titled “An Irish Glen,” presenting a peaceful rural landscape with rolling green hills, a winding country road and a small stream flowing through the valley. Stone walls divide the countryside while the largely undeveloped hills create a classic early Irish landscape scene. The understated coloring gives the image an attractive vintage appearance.
The reverse carries the ACME trademark and identifies the publisher as Scholastic Production Co., Belfast, with card number 4010. The postcard is unused and unposted. Standard size approximately 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Visible condition includes general age toning, light surface marks and minor corner and edge wear consistent with an older postcard. An appealing piece for collectors of Ireland, Irish countryside scenes, rural landscapes, scenic roads and early European travel postcards.
