Vintage Soviet-era Khokhloma-style hand-painted wooden folk art set, made in the USSR.

The lot includes 6 pieces:
• 2 round covered containers with lids
• 1 small cup
• 1 large decorative ladle/spoon with painted fish design
• 2 additional decorative wooden spoons

Beautiful traditional black, red, gold and green painted decoration featuring berries, flowers, foliage and fish motifs. One of the covered containers retains its original “MADE in USSR” paper label with Soviet factory/technical markings. One spoon also retains part of its original Soviet paper label marked with the decorative pattern name “Kudrina.”

The pieces appear to date from the Soviet period, likely around the 1980s. Made of painted and lacquered wood.

A very attractive original Soviet folk art collection, ideal for Khokhloma, USSR, Russian folk art and vintage woodenware collectors.
