The pick from Trekel is inspired by the highly popular Roland plectrum, which has been unavailable for years. It combines a slender shape with the time-tested design. A slightly velvety surface ensures a beautiful mandolin tone.

I was able to source them directly from Germany and offer them in the United States.

These brown picks are hard and firm used for the mandolin or mandola.

(The black picks are softer described as medium hardness)

Warm, full, clear sound. No background noise. Wide sustain. Great training for wrist tremolo. That's why it's stiff. The best I've found. I immediately bought more in case I lose one.

German classical mandolin picks like this one are uniquely thick compared to standard picks, but are crafted from a specialized compound material that allows them to bend slightly while playing to reduce string click and pick noise.

Use the firm (brown) pick for rapid tremolo,

Use the medium (black) pick for a lighter touch.
