Notes; Frederick (Fred) Pavitt was a GWR Train driver based in and around Taunton for over 40 years. He played Football for the GWR. Playing just after WW2 in the Taunton & District Saturday Knock Out League. His GWR team won the competition in the 1945-6 and 1947 seasons. (I will be listing those medals too).
This medal fob dates from 1945 just before his time at the GWR.
Hallmarks; Stamped "STR SIL" for sterling silver in addition to an "A.F" sponsor mark for
"Arthur Fenwick."
General Condition; Very good, some surface rubbing/marking, as shown.
