RARE Dire Straits - Twisting By the Pool CDV EP 1988 Rock [WB 9 25810-2]
CD Video is an obsolete, hybrid optical disc format introduced in 1987 by Philips that merged standard audio compact disc (CD) technology with analog LaserDisc video. Distinctly identified by its gold-colored surface, it was designed to deliver a single music video alongside a short audio EP.
Ultimately, CD Video was short-lived and phased out around 1990–1992 due to the high cost of LaserDisc hardware and the arrival of fully digital video standards.
