This unique polar bear sauna hat is completely handmade in Latvia using a special combination of Merino wool knitting and wet felting.
The hat is first knitted by hand with Merino wool using knitting needles in a larger size. The knitted base is then carefully covered and felted with additional Merino wool using the traditional wet felting technique.
The polar bear face is individually sculpted and felted onto the hat.

The small side ears are not large decorative ears. They are designed to sit over your own ears and help protect them from the heat of the sauna.
The knitted and wet-felted construction makes the hat flexible and comfortable to wear.
