*Up for sale here is a nice pair of rich aqua blue unmarked Hemingray glass threadless spool insulators, which were originally found in West Virginia. Both CD 1106 insulators are quite crude, as seen here. They are both in excellent shape, with no chips, bruises, cracks or pings. The one insulator has some minor wire rubs on the one side only, and the other is near the base only. These minor "flaws" are non-detracting. Both sparkling clean examples measure 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches across. These threadless spools were used for the telegraph, telephone, railroad and electrical home use. You will be quite pleased with these very nice crude examples of old Hemingray glass and thanks for looking.
