Vintage hand-carved wooden figurine of a young peasant girl carrying a basket with a cat and basket with fruit/flowers, with detailed clothing, braided hair and a warm stained natural wood finish.

The carving has a traditional European Alpine folk art style with visible hand-carved details throughout.

Measures approximately 4.5" high x 2.25" wide, with a base approximately 1.5".

Please note that there is a visible hairline crack in the wood on top of the girl's head. This appears consistent with the natural drying and aging of solid wood over time rather than an impact break. It has not been filled or concealed and is shown clearly in the close-up photos.
