Sjt-A.S.Mjr R.J. Tilby R.A.M.C.
Army LSGC correctly named to 7245584 S.Sjt. R.J.
Tilby R.A.M.C.
Graded very fine.
With copied MIC, number 7245584, no WW1 medals, just
lists GSM & clasp Kurdistan. Copied medal roll, states serving 31 Coy RAMC,
Deolali.
Copied MSM card and London Gazette (3/6/19) entry,
home town listed as Borough, MSM states award for Ireland (Home).
Copied Forces war Records extract stating LSGC issued
A.O.136 1923 and issued 12/7/24.
After extensive searches, I can find no MIC or WW1
Medal roll for a 19997 Tilby, which suggests he only had home service. None of
the docs I have found have both service numbers on them, but unusual name. I
have not been able to confirm the award of the MID, but was there when I
purchased it. A very unusual trio of medals.
Buyer can collect from Warwick.
