This collectible 1963 Aurora Plastics Corporation Creature From The Black Lagoon model kit is one of the most iconic monster model kits ever produced. Featuring Universal's legendary Gill-Man from the classic horror film Creature From The Black Lagoon, this vintage assembly kit represents the golden age of monster collecting and remains one of the most sought-after Aurora releases.

Produced by Aurora during the early 1960s, these kits introduced a generation of enthusiasts to model building while celebrating the unforgettable monsters of classic cinema. The dramatic box artwork captures the excitement and atmosphere that made Aurora's monster series famous, and the Creature remains a cornerstone of virtually every serious Universal Monsters collection.

This example includes the original box and appears remarkably complete. Most of the green plastic components remain attached to their original sprues, preserving much of the kit's original presentation. Included are the Creature figure components, scenic base elements, accessories, instructions, and original packaging as shown. Collectors will appreciate both the completeness of the set and the survival of the original box, which is often missing or heavily damaged on examples from this era.

Whether displayed sealed as a collectible, preserved as a vintage toy, or assembled into a finished display piece, this Aurora classic offers exceptional appeal to collectors of monster memorabilia, Universal Studios collectibles, vintage model kits, and mid-century pop culture artifacts.
