A single paged indentured release deed no paper relating to a paper mill and Gleadhill Farm and substantial lands in the township of Euxton, Lancashire.
The document is dated 27 January 1732, during the reign of King George the second.
The agreement is between John Dandy of Croston in the county of Lancaster, Yeoman of the first part, Hugh Tootell of Brindle in the said County, husbandman of the second part and James Foster of Charnock Richard in the same County, Tanner and William Hawkshead of Chorley in the same county, Yeoman of the third part.
The consideration for the agreement is the rents and covenant a set out in the agreement.
The property includes a papermill with the appurtenances, situated, standing and being in Euxton now in the possession of Hugh Tootell or his undertenants together with all the utensils, gear, tools and things commonly used in or about or belonging to said mill and all the singular houses whatsoever to said hereby lease premises.
The property also refers to that messuage or tenement with the appurtenances, commonly called and known by the name of Gleadhill and all those several closes, closures and parcels of land, Meadow and pasture ground therewith usually occupied and enjoyed, situated, being and lying in Euxton, commonly called by the several names of the Greene Banck, the Lower Meadow, the Loond Fields, the Harr Meane Hey, the Lower Meane Hey, Calf Croft and the Further Banck, containing by estimation 18 acres of land or thereabouts.
The bottom margin contains the signature and seal of Hugh Tootell.
According to some associated map documents (a picture of which is shown, but is not for sale here), the land appears to be what was more recently known as the Armetriding Estates which run adjacent to the river Yarrow just south west of the modern township of Euxton. Close to where the M6 runs now. 
The document is on paper and is in reasonable structural condition with obvious fold lines, and discolouration throughout. Minor surface wrinkling. Wear in the fold lines, particularly where they meet. some Min repairs to the folds. Some wrinkling and minor tears to the periphery. Please see photos.
The document measures 26“ x 19”.
