I purchased this ad estate sale from somebody who collected oriental art. That is literally all I know there is some glue of some sort that I tried to knock off very carefully, and I got a chunk off, but it also took a chip out of it as seen in the photo spoon. The snuff spoon is made out of plastic a slightly flexible, clear yellow old plastic, but it is plastic. I don’t know what the other stuff is made out of of if it is actual Cinnabar, resin or soap stone or whatever it is heavy, but it’s a pretty little bottle. I’m selling it cheap to rehome it.
