2006 MUSIC MAN 20th Anniversary Silhouette Developed with input from over 100 professional guitarists as a 100% Music Man original, the "Silhouette," born in 1986, has been loved by professionals for its small, easy-to-handle compact body and exceptional ergonomic playability. It also holds a historical place as the first guitar to feature a compensated nut, dramatically improving pitch stability.
Its most distinctive feature is the luxurious and innovative wood materials that set it apart from regular models. It employs a special composite structure with a breathtakingly beautiful, carefully selected figured maple top, alder back, and a mahogany block embedded as a tone block.
This results in a sound that combines the clear, crisp response characteristic of the Silhouette with the rich, sustained midrange and deep, rich sustain unique to mahogany. The neck features a beautifully subtle bird's-eye maple grain, while the fingerboard is made of rosewood, which tightly defines the core of the sound.
This contributes significantly to the superb playability and clear, articulate tone. At its heart are two custom DiMarzio humbucker pickups.
These pickups capture the player's picking nuances delicately and dynamically, outputting a wide range from high-quality clean tones to edgy, heavy distortion. Weighing 3.57kg, it's exceptionally well-balanced and easy to handle, ensuring stress-free performance even during long stage shows or recording sessions, guaranteeing consistently top-notch performance.
While there are minor scratches, scuffs, and dents, they do not affect playability, and the guitar is in player's condition.
