Avon Fashion Figurine Elizabethan bottle filled with Moonwind Cologne, 4 fl. oz., in its original illustrated box. The pink bottle is styled as an Elizabethan fashion figure, with a textured, sweeping skirt. The underside retains its original label identifying the Elizabethan design, Moonwind fragrance, and 4 fl. oz. size.
The box displays a court scene with Elizabethan figures in elaborate dress. Its printed history describes the royal court during Elizabeth I’s reign, from 1558 to 1603, and the fashion for stiff collars called ruffs. It notes that these collars stood high at the back and opened at the front, and says Queen Elizabeth owned 2,000 dresses, many given by subjects who knew her love of clothes.
