What it is: An indulgent line-smoothing facial oil imbued with La Prairie's newest caviar incarnation, caviar retinol.

What it does: Indulge in the line-smoothing potency of caviar. With a unique blend of caviar-derived retinol and caviar lipids, caviar retinol harnesses the line-smoothing potential of caviar science, which goes behind lifting and firming. This oil helps uncrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; smoothes skin visibly; enhances the appearance of firmness and elasticity; and seals in moisture and actives of skin care products that proceed it. It also helps strengthen skin's own barrier function and prevents water loss while hydrating skin so it appears plump. At once generous and silky, the formula soothes and cushions skin for total indulgence. Over time, lines and wrinkles appear reduced, skin looks firmed and moisture is sealed in, prolonging the elusive strength of caviar beyond the night.

How to use: Apply nightly after cleansing, toning and applying your lotion, serum and eye-area treatments. Using the dropper, dispense 2–4 drops into the palm of your hand and gently warm between the palms of both hands and glide onto your fingers. Keeping your hand flat, start with a sliding motion between your eyebrows and slide up to your forehead. Continue toward the temples, slide across the cheekbones toward the top of the nose and continue down to the jawline. Slide your fingertips around the contours of your mouth. Finish by sliding your fingers along your jawline from chin to earlobes. Repeat the entire pattern until fully absorbed.
