Frequently Asked Questions
- What kind of film does the Rollei Heidoscop 6x13cm Mod. 4 use?
- The Rollei Heidoscop 6x13cm Mod. 4 uses 6x13cm glass plates. These are less common today and may require custom preparation or adaptation for modern film.
- What are the specific characteristics of the Tessar 4.5/7.5cm lenses?
- The Tessar 4.5/7.5cm lenses are known for their sharpness and clarity, typical of Carl Zeiss designs from that era. They provide a classic rendering well-suited for historical photographic styles.
- How does the stereo functionality of this camera work?
- This stereo camera captures two images simultaneously from slightly different perspectives. When these images are viewed through a stereoscope, they create a three-dimensional effect.
- What does 'shutter operating but not 100% accurate' mean for usage?
- This means that while the shutter fires, the actual exposure times may not precisely match the set values. For critical work, external metering and careful exposure bracketing would be necessary.
- Is the plate magazine included with this camera suitable for immediate use?
- The included plate magazine is an original accessory for this camera model. However, its condition for light-tightness or readiness for use with modern plates should be independently verified before loading.
