This listing is for a SmartBreeder Smartbook portable ultrasound scanner in White/Navy, supplied with a scanner probe, 3 chargers, VGA to HDMI video adapter and protective carrying suitcase.

The device powers on, but has a known operating fault. It starts up and displays the SmartBreeder logo, but the screen then freezes and the system does not enter normal operation.

The device also produces 3 beeps when switched on and, after running for a few minutes, automatically resets/restarts.

Fault / Testing

The following has been tested and confirmed:

Device powers on correctly
3 beeps occur during startup
SmartBreeder logo appears on screen
Logo then disappears during startup
Cursor is visible on screen
Screen subsequently freezes
Device does not continue into normal operation
CAPS and SHIFT indicators appear on screen when the corresponding keys are pressed
Keyboard/button functions respond sufficiently for their indicators to appear
Button illumination / indicator lights are working
After a few minutes the device resets/restarts automatically
Exact cause of the fault is unknown

The device was previously working but stopped operating correctly without any obvious reason.
