By January 1950, “Atomic Age” America was fueled with rabid paranoia. Russia had the H-bomb, communists were infiltrating unions and academia, strange unidentified objects called “flying saucers” were invading our skies, and a small New Mexico town named Roswell was suddenly made famous.
Out of these turbulent times, independent actor/producer Mikel Conrad made the first feature film dealing with the “flying saucer” mystery and the very real “red menace” that threatened America, as well as the entire free world.
THE FLYING SAUCER is the thrill-packed race between the United States and Russia to capture a “flying saucer” hidden in the uncharted avalanche-prone wastelands of Alaska. Do we have visitors from another world? Saturday matinee excitement explodes as Mikel Conrad risks all to reveal the “Secret of the Saucers.”
