- Hand-wrapped, all-birch ply shells elevate expectations
Yamaha chose birch to create the signature sound they're known for—dynamic, articulate and versatile. The shells' birch construction gives you strong projection with controlled overtones and a wide dynamic range. The birch provides an ideal balance of low-end punch, midrange focus and high-end sparkle. You'll achieve excellent tuning and intonation to shape your ideal drum tone.
