An extraordinary late 19th-century mouth-blown Italian Venetian revival art glass tazza (diminutive pedestal bowl / champagne coupe). Crafted in a translucent muted raspberry-amethyst hue, the glass is infused throughout with heavy gold leaf aventurine (avventurina) inclusions.

The gently flared bowl features subtle spiral ribbing and rests upon an exceptionally elaborate baluster stem. The stem showcases hand-applied gold-flecked decorative elements—including prunts, sunburst/starburst applique medallions, trailing glass threads, and a delicately ruffled collar ring. The piece stands on a wide, folded foot with a ground and polished pontil underneath. Unmarked, as is typical for Murano production of this era.
