Up for sale is a beautiful vintage 1970s open-face snowmobile helmet featuring a highly sought-after, detachable Sno Rider flip-up face shield. The helmet has been meticulously and thoroughly cleaned and detailed, making it an excellent addition to any retro powersports collection, garage display, or man cave.
Condition Details:
Face Shield: Clear 3-snap Sno Rider flip-up visor. It is fully detachable, functions smoothly, and has been carefully washed. It shows typical light surface cleaning marks but no major cracks or gouges.
Helmet Shell: The glossy white fiberglass/plastic shell is in fantastic shape and is nearly scuff-free.
Graphics: Features classic retro green triple racing stripes down the center/back. The stripes are original vintage decals and show some character wear, light scuffs, and minor edge peeling as pictured.
Interior: The original fabric lining and straps are intact. Please note that the original 1970s foam padding underneath the fabric has begun to break down, crumble, and "dust," which is entirely normal for a helmet of this age.
