This illustrated volume looks back at the creation and development of one of the most influential graphic novels ever published, bringing together a wealth of archival material including early character concepts, sketches, page layouts, discarded ideas, production notes and previously unpublished artwork. Gibbons also provides his own recollections of the project and the evolution of the story and artwork.
Published by Titan Books in October 2008. Copyright page states First Edition October 2008, with number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2, confirming this copy as the second printing of the first edition.
Condition: Very Good overall. The book itself presents well, with clean illustrated boards and pages. The dust jacket remains bright and attractive, with some light shelf wear, rubbing and minor edge/corner wear consistent with age and handling. Please see photographs for the exact condition.
