Arnold was a Painter, born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, married to the painter Graham Arnold. She studied at Epsom School of Art, 1956-9, working as an art therapist, 1959-69. Was one of the seven artists who formed The Brotherhood of Ruralists in 1975, which had its first exhibition in 1976. Apart from Ruralist shows she exhibited in mixed shows including Festival Gallery, Bath, 1974; Bristol City Art Gallery, 1975; and RA Summer Exhibition, from 1977. Had her first solo show at Festival Gallery, Bath, 1979, exhibiting with New Grafton Gallery from 1981.
