For sale: Serotta Max 853 mtb frame in good condition with minor paint blemishes paint. Serotta made it from late 1990s to approximately 2000.

Handcrafted in the United States, these rare, high-end hardtail mountain bikes featured premium Reynolds 853 air-hardened, heat-treated steel tubing rather than the Columbus MAX tubing found on Serotta's earlier T-Max mountain bikes. They were optimized for 26-inch wheels, featured traditional geometries of the era, and were highly regarded for providing a compliant yet exceptionally stiff and lively ride quality.
