Nice vintage Japanese miniature hasami-bako (a traditional samurai traveling clothing storage chest) featuring black and gold lacquer maki-e decoration with copper tone corner mounts and a display stand. It also sits atop an orange wooden stand that sits on the black wooden stand.

Gold cord ties the miniature samurai sword onto the top. In excellent condition.
