Antique Victorian / Early 20th Century Mahogany Swivel Vanity Mirror Heavy

Offered here is a classic antique dresser or vanity mirror crafted from solid mahogany, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1890–1910). This piece features a traditional swivel (tilt) design, allowing the mirror to be adjusted for use on a dresser or tabletop.

The mirror retains its original silvered glass plate, which shows a light, natural sparkle under close inspection along with faint ripple and minimal foxing toward the lower area—consistent with age and indicative of original period glass. The reflection remains clear and highly usable.

Condition:

Good antique condition overall. The wood shows light cosmetic wear consistent with age, including minor surface scratches and scuffs. One finial has a loss at the tip (see photos). There is also a small area of edge wear/separation at the base, as shown. The mirror plate remains intact with no cracks.

A solid and attractive period piece that displays well and retains its original character.
