Rare and unusual large vintage carved Gourd.

Probably came from Nigeria or other Western African countries.

This is a large  size Gourd with an intricate details and images of birds, fish and scorpions.

Beautifully decorated in leather with bronze rings and bell, shells, beads, leather pouches and coins.

One coin is British 1945 one tenth of a penny.

Condition is very good.
