This item is
Vintage Japanese Washi Paper Shikishi-e Set of 13 Signed with Seals circa 1980s.
Each work is executed on handmade washi paper, depicting a variety of themes such as birds and flowers, seasonal landscapes, figures, animals, and traditional motifs. Subjects include a tiger, a sheep, human figures, as well as cherry blossoms, maple leaves, chrysanthemums, and more.
The artworks bear artist’s seals and inscriptions, reflecting the refined aesthetic of late Showa Japanese art.
