1970s Japanese Emperor & Empress Hina Doll Set

Traditional Japanese Hina dolls representing the Emperor and Empress of the imperial court. These dolls were created for Hinamatsuri, the Japanese Girls’ Festival, celebrating happiness, health, and prosperity.
The layered silk-style robes feature vivid orange, deep purple, and gold tones inspired by classical Heian-period court fashion. Elegant fans, ceremonial accessories, and flowing sleeve forms create a refined sense of movement and balance.
