Antique John Bunyan Pilgrim’s Progress & Other Works Illustrated Book
1871

This antique illustrated book features the works of John Bunyan, including the famous "Pilgrim's Progress" and other Allegorical Works.  The hardback leather binding and European origin add to its historical significance, making it a valuable addition to any collector's library.

The original English language text is beautifully illustrated by David and William B Scott, making it both visually and intellectually appealing for readers interested in classic literature.  It also includes a critical essay on Bunyan and the Pilgrim's Progress by Lord Macaulay.

It was printed by A. Fullerton & Co - London, Edinburgh and New York but the date isn't shown, however it does have a personalised message dated 1871.

The spine, with the title and detailing in gold is in vey good condition, the page edges are still coloured gold,  but the leather cover does show signs of wear fit with its age.

It measures 24cm x 7cm x 29cm and weighs 3080g.

It has been stored in a pet-free/smoke-free environment and for postage will be well wrapped in bubble wrap and sent by standard postal service unless otherwise requested.  The price of the postage reflects this service.
