Beautiful Longines Automatic watch from the late 1950’s. Swiss made, caliber 19A. This was NOT a USA sold watch originally, so it was cased and timed in Switzerland, not the USA. In other words, this is the real Swiss Deal.

Stainless steel, 33.5 mm, original unsigned “hidden” integrated Longines crown, notched twist back case, sweeping faceted lugs, long sharp dagger lug case, applied silver arrow dagger baton dauphine style hands with luminous infill, luminous plots, applied silver winged hourglass logo.

Small (sub) seconds. 17 jewels, cal. 19A circa 1956-58. Albert Pellaton winding system via IWC, Longines in-house movement, pearl tone dial face. New watch band is 19mm.

Collectors call this the Calatrava model, 33.5 diameter, 5 by 42 lug to lug.

Regarded by many as the finest automatic movement ever produced by Longines, the Calibre 19A, 17 Jewel automatic movement is an absolute gem.

This watch is minty, keeps good time, was serviced in 2019 at LA Watches, Inc., no paperwork. 19mm RIOS1931 Art Manuel Strap is practically unused.
