I can trace the origin of this bottle to old purchase papers and this one is in a film slide from about circa 1968 that matches purchase papers description.

Slightly damaged see photos.

Has provenance papers from the seller from circa about 1968

This auction is for ONE 1 bottle. The photos at the end of the listing are to show other auctions from the same collection I am selling separately.

My mother left me 70 snuff bottles. I am starting to sell them on Ebay.

She kept all the purchase air mail letters back and forth with the seller from Hong Kong in 1968 (which papers I am NOT including in this sale).

Some of the items mentioned in the papers are white Jade and Qing era and Young Chou, and Cho Lo Yuan, artist, and Chien Lung (1736- 1795) period mark and Cheung Hin mark, and some are Qianlong art school. And artist XiangXin with different spelling of the artists name, is referenced in the correspondence.

However I cannot match all the bottles to which bottles were referenced in the purchase papers. Therefore I am selling the bottles AS IS especially regarding their provenance but mention they are most likely very rare and valuable.

I am listing bottles that are inside painted, enamel, peking glass, porcelain and precious carved gemstone.

If the sales price of any one bottle is over $250 I can email copies of all the 1968 papers to the buyer on request.
