Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 5 Jack Plane – Made in USA – Type 19 Era

Vintage Stanley No. 5 bench/jack plane manufactured in the USA.

Based on the visible construction details, including the kidney-shaped lever cap opening, black japanned body and STANLEY-marked lateral adjustment lever, this appears consistent with a Stanley Type 19 plane from approximately 1948–1961.

Condition:

Pre-owned vintage condition with considerable cosmetic wear from age and use. There is surface rust/oxidation, scratches, finish loss, discoloration and general shop wear throughout. Blade/iron also shows oxidation. The plane has not been professionally restored, sharpened, flattened or precision tested.
