This guitar is a derivative of the legendary Gretsch "Country Gentleman," named after the iconic guitarist Chet Atkins. With its traditional double-cutaway design, elegant walnut finish, and gold hardware, it embodies the classic Gretsch look.
The most distinctive feature of this model is that, unlike the Country Gentleman's painted "fake F-holes," this one features actual F-holes drilled into the body. The rich resonance produced by its open body construction, combined with the crisp Filter'Tron pickups, delivers a unique tone that is both brilliant and sweet, with just the right amount of edge—a hallmark of Gretsch.
Furthermore, it's equipped with a Bigsby tremolo. Combining a classic look, rich resonance, and the distinctive Gretsch sound, this is truly a guitar that lets you experience the "good old Gretsch." ■Condition Overall, there are signs of age and use, such as small dents, scratches, tarnishing of parts, and peeling of plating, but there is no major damage, and the overall condition is clean.
