This is a Hakko 936-9 soldering station. This unit is from a neighbors late husband and I've been helping her part with some of his items. This unit powers on and the power light illuminates, however I was not able to get the wand/pen/tip to heat up and for this reason, it's being sold as-is in the "For Parts or Not Working" condition category. The temperature dial moves freely and no cracks or damage to both the power cord or wand cable were noted. 

The unit itself looks to be in good shape overall, it feels solid and structurally sound and it's pretty clean with some specks and spots and case wear noted. Please review all photos for a clear representation of the cosmetic condition.
