Very good overall condition. The hardback binding remains firm and the pages are clean and well presented.

There is a very small tear to the glued rear endpaper/pastedown, as clearly shown in the photographs. This does not affect the main text pages or readability of the book.

The original dust jacket shows some age-related handling and edge wear, including light creasing/scuffing and wear around the spine ends and corners. The burgundy cloth boards remain very presentable with attractive gilt decoration.
