Vintage Tony Wood ceramic Toby jug / character jug featuring a seated ale drinker holding a tankard and wearing a traditional tricorn hat and green coat. The base carries the Oldcourt Ware mark along with an impressed “M/S PHILPOT” mark within the glaze.

A classic mid-century English pub-style character jug with strong decorative appeal, ideal for collectors of Toby jugs, breweriana, vintage barware, or traditional English ceramics.

Finished in glossy cream, green, amber and black glazes with well-modelled facial detail and stylised seated form.
