Do Not Cover Cooling Vents Ensure the microwave cover does not completely block cooling vents or other components essential to the operation of the microwave. 10 Minute Cook Maximum Do not use the microwave food cover in the microwave for longer than 10 continuous minutes while cooking or defrosting. Do Not Cook While on Ceiling Do not leave the microwave cover for food attached to the ceiling while the microwave is in use. Lower it down or remove it when heating food.
