A charming vintage 1975 Puffin paperback edition of Tove Jansson’s much-loved Moomin classic Moominvalley in November.

As autumn arrives in Moominvalley, a number of familiar and new characters make their way to the Moominhouse, each seeking something different. A quieter and more reflective Moomin story, it captures Jansson’s distinctive blend of warmth, humour and gentle melancholy.

Condition

Book is in VERY GOOD clean condition.

No names, no labels, no inscriptions. Not ex-library.

The binding is firm with only a very slight forward lean. The spine is full and uncreased though there is some sunning. The paper covers show very light signs of handling and shelf wear.

All pages are clean and clear, with some tanning throughout, light foxing to the margins and some age-related spotting along the page edges.

A lovely vintage edition and an appealing addition to any Moomin or Tove Jansson collection.
