A pretty vintage doll dating from the 1960s. She is clean and fresh smelling but has some faults. She is being sold for TLC.

She measures 23 inch high and was manufactured in England by Palitoy. She has been cleaned and is fresh smelling.

Her head and arms are vinyl and her body and legs are hard vinyl/plastic. She has rooted dark brown curly hair which has been carefully washed and conditioned.

She is identical in appearance to the early Poppet doll walking and talking doll but was only designed as a hand assisted walking doll, not talking. There are small factory made holes in her head showing this is the same head design as used for the talking doll. Her legs are now looser than they should be as the band inside her body attached to her legs has stretched with age. She can still move her legs in a walking action but needs to be supported (lean against a wall) when standing or sitting due to being inclined to fall forwards or backwards. The main issue is her hair, which although having a beautiful appearance with its curls, falls out when brushed. This doesn't affect her as a display doll but she wouldn't be suitable for play. 

• Her dark brown hair is soft and uncut but has the problem detailed above. She still has plenty of hair so the loss isn't obvious. The hair has been lightly sprayed with hair spray.
• Her big brown are designed to open and close well as the doll is tilted. One has a loose eyeweight inside it so needs a shake to realign this from time to time as the eye tends to partly close as shown in the photos. Her eyelashes are original and perfect. 
• She doesn't have any ink marks.
• There are no indentations to her fingers or toes. The surface of the vinyl on part of her hands is a little rough making it more difficult to clean but otherwise there are just the usual superficial rubs consistent with play.
• Her lip paint is original but faded (oxidised with age)
