Cards show discoloration, soiling, edge wear, rounded/worn corners, surface marks, and occasional stains. The presentation box also has considerable wear.

These cards are still very cool to look at and handle.

Vintage Congress double-deck playing-card set in its original decorative presentation box. Includes two coordinating decks with plaid/checkered backs—one primarily blue and green and the other gold, orange, and brown.

Both standard playing decks have been counted and are complete at 52 cards each. No jokers are present. The cards feature traditional illustrated court cards and were marketed with Congress’s “Cel-U-Tone Finish.”

This is a well-used vintage set rather than a pristine collector-grade example. The cards exhibit noticeable discoloration, grime, surface wear, edge wear, softened and rounded corners, scattered marks, and general handling wear throughout.
