Colorful vintage Florida pin-up postcard featuring a smiling woman modeling a striking red and white polka dot swimsuit against a dramatic blue sky filled with white clouds. The classic swimsuit styling, pose, makeup, and photographic presentation give this card a strong mid-century Florida vacation and pin-up appearance. The reverse credits the image as a Colorphoto by B. Amadeus Rubel and identifies Palm Color Card Co., Inc. of North Miami, Florida. Identification numbers YL 9201 and GS 542 appear on the back.
A particularly attractive example for collectors of vintage swimsuit photography, Florida tourism memorabilia, mid-century fashion, beach imagery, and classic pin-up postcards. The bright red polka-dot bathing suit provides excellent visual appeal and makes the card stand out nicely when displayed. Standard postcard size measuring approximately 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Card is unposted and unused. Vintage surface, edge, and corner wear may be present; please use the supplied photographs to judge overall condition.
