"Made in 1997! An early Martin D-15?known for the warm, powerful tone unique to its all-mahogany body?has arrived in our used inventory!"

Wefve received a used MARTIN D-15.

Key specifications include a mahogany top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a 25.4-inch scale length.

It is characterized by warm mid-to-low frequencies and a well-defined response, produced by a body crafted entirely of mahogany?from the top to the sides and back. Unlike a spruce-top guitar, which emphasizes brilliance, this model features subdued harmonics and a well-balanced sound. You can enjoy a rich, powerful resonance when strumming and a simple, warm nuance when fingerpicking.

In terms of condition, there are dents, scratches, scuffs, and tarnish on the metal parts; it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age.

The back of the body shows whitish discoloration, likely caused by friction or wear.

There is a slight bulge beneath the bridge on the top.

The neck has a very slight forward bow. The string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.3 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 1.8 mm on the 1st string side; the guitar is currently playable.

The truss rod has been tested and confirmed to operate up to 60 degrees in both directions, but the remaining adjustment range is somewhat limited. Please be aware in advance that future adjustments will be limited.

We have performed a fret leveling adjustment at our shop. While the frets are generally on the low side, they are currently at a playable height, with approximately 50% of their original material remaining.

We noticed some peeling in the bracing and have repaired it by re-gluing it. Additionally, we observed that the bridge was lifting slightly, so we have re-glued it as well. The instrument will be delivered to you in its post-repair condition.

A non-original hard case is included.

We hope youfll consider this opportunity.
